  1. The following are the rules of the conference.

  3.  
  4.  1.   This conference is for licensed hams to swap, buy, or sell their own
  5. personal ham radio equipment. Advertizers will not repeatedly post the same,
  6. identical advertizement when obviously there is no buyer interest. Dropping the
  7. price is one preferred way to change an ad so it's no longer identical to a
  8. previous one. Advertizers may require proof of license if they wish to do so.
  9.  
  10.  2.   Beginners who have not yet received their licenses may use the conference
  11. to obtain equipment to be used after the licenses arrive.
  12.  
  13.  3.   Non-ham equipment may be advertized if it has ham radio applications.
  14. This includes but is not limited to computer equipment which could be used for
  15. packet radio.
  16.  
  17.  4.   Hams who are commercial vendors may advertise USED ham gear from their
  18. stores, but not NEW equipment. This applies only to individual hams who own
  19. their own store, not chain stores like AES, HRO, etc. Commercial vendors who
  20. wish special exemptions for advertizing new equipment (such as one time only
  21. items, end of production close outs, etc.) may contact the moderator.

  23.  5.   There will be no messages in this conference dealing with equipment or
  24. equipment modifications which are primarily intended for illegal purposes,
  25. including, but not limited to operation on non-ham frequencies or evading the
  26. Part 97 linear amplifier restrictions.

  28.  6.   The messages posted in this conference will include information on
  29. private means to reply, and those private means, rather than the conference,
  30. will be used whenever possible. To permit message header quick scans, all
  31. messages will provide as much information as possible in the message Subject:
  32. line.

  34.  7.   The users of this conference will not flame at one another or appoint
  35. themselves topic cop. The moderator alone will establish and enforce the rules.
